Starting Desktop Client from Command Line

The Desktop Client is a Windows application, but you can also start and connect devices from the command line. You open the desktop client by executing the desktop client exe from the command line.

By default, the exe is in one of the following directories. When you execute the command below, the  Desktop Client application opens. Be sure to replace the {user} with the actual value.

The Desktop Client exe also accepts the following parameters:

  • -s parameter represents the Kron PAM server.
  • -d parameter represents the device you want to connect.
  • -u is the user that you connect to Kron PAM.
  • -p is this user’s Kron PAM password.
