Creating a One-Time Password

navigate to sapm management > sapm management section open the sapm account s tab select the user for which you wish to see the one time password specify the reason for accessing the password from the user options drop down menu, select show password a pop up appears to select an expiration time the password can always be viewed for static accounts if the allow\ seen by multiple user property is set, users can see the sapm password for dynamic accounts at the same time if another user has checked out the password, an error message appears informing that another user has the password when the user’s password access time expires, the password is automatically reset for dynamic accounts if the password is not reset due to some exceptional cases, the user who retrieved the password last continues to see the same password even though the password access time has expired see the password reset failed figure below
