Transferring Files between RDP endpoints
To transfer files between RDP endpoints:
- Navigate to Administration > System Config. Man.
- Set the parameter: nsso.remote.desktop.drive.sharing.enabled = true
- Once this parameter is set, restart netright-tomcat by establishing an SSH connection to the Kron PAM server and running the command: systemctl restart netright-tomcat
When this property is set, a special folder on Kron PAM (/tmp/) is shared with all the RDP endpoints as a shared drive named G on Kron PAM RDP. To transfer a file from an RDP endpoint to another, the file should be transferred to this drive first, then it can be transferred from this drive to the second endpoint.
The same drive can also be used to transfer files between the userβs computer and the RDP endpoint.
The File Manager link on the top bar (bar opens by default and can be toggled using CTRL + ALT + Shift) opens the File Manager tab, which can be used for file transfers. Upload files by dragging them to the right-hand side area, and download files from the left-hand menu. The files on the G on Kron PAM drive in the File Explorer are listed on the left menu, and uploading files on the right side are added to that same folder.
Copy-paste from local to remote endpoint and vice versa is also possible through the RDP proxy. For security reasons copied texts are seen as dots by default. If the eye icon is pressed they become visible. When the copied text is long you can expand the clipboard with the icon on the left side of the clipboard text.
