HTTP Proxy
Web Browser Configuration
The second way to use HTTP Proxy is through a web browser. All web browsers support HTTP Proxy functionality, however, Kron recommends the Mozilla Firefox web browser since its proxy configurations do not affect the computer proxy settings. Other web browsers use the operating system Proxy settings, and to use other web browsers, you need to configure the operating system proxy settings for an HTTP Proxy.
Mozilla Firefox
To configure the Mozilla Firefox web browser:
- Open Settings > Network Settings.
- In Proxy Settings, select Manual Proxy Configuration.
- In the HTTP Proxy field, enter the IP address or URL of the Kron PAM instance.
- In the Port field, enter the Kron PAM port (Defaults to 7080, Kron PAM’s http/s port)
- Check the Use of this proxy server for all protocol checkboxes.

- Scroll down to find the Manual proxy setup.
- Click the Use a proxy server toggle.
- Enter the Kron PAM IP or hostname in the Address field and 7080 in the Port field.
