Configuring the Kron PAM Desktop Client

There are two different ways to use the HTTP Proxy for a web page. The first one is through the Kron PAM Desktop Client, without changing any browser or computer proxy settings. You can download the Kron PAM Desktop Client from the Kron PAM Web GUI login page.

  1. Open the Kron PAM Web GUI on an internet browser and download the Kron PAM Desktop Client.
  2. Install the Kron PAM Desktop Client by following the instructions.

  • Open the Kron PAM Desktop Client click Connections and then click Add. Enter the Kron PAM server's IP Address and the Kron PAM server's Port number (The port number defaults to 80 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS but this port might change per request).
  • If SSL is activated in the network, check the Use SSL box, and then click Save.

  • Enter the Kron PAM Username and Password. Choose the Kron PAM server's IP address from the Server dropdown and click Login.

  • The Kron PAM device groups are listed Choose an HTTP/HTTPS device and double-click to open an HTTP or HTTPS session.
