Linux Worker Deployment
1. Worker Installation
1.1 Docker Installation
Install Docker following the same steps described in Section 1.1.
1.2 Configuration Files
Copy the following files to the worker server:
- configs/
- common-encrypt
- worker.yml
1.3 Credential Encryption
To connect the worker to GitLab or GitHub, credentials must be stored encrypted.
Use common-encrypt to generate encrypted versions of:
- Username
- Password / Token
1.4 Worker Registration
- Create a new worker via the CMS UI
- Copy the generated Worker ID
- Update configs/config.json:
- Insert encrypted username and password
- Insert plain username and token
- Append the Worker ID to repoUrl after worker-config/
1.5 Start Worker
docker compose -f worker.yml -p dsp up -d
Verify:
- No errors in container logs
- Assigned pipeline is present at:
/app/repo/<WORKER_ID>/pipeline
1.6 Pipeline Verification
If the directory is empty, verify the pipeline exists in GitLab:
/product/dsp/worker-config/<WORKER_ID>/pipeline
