Introduction
In today's environment, companies need to manage data efficiently, utilizing it in multiple analysis environments and storing it for the long term, given the increasing volume of log data. As these data are transported from sources to target systems, the need to transmit the same log data to multiple target systems, occasionally changing formats, reducing unnecessary logs, or minimizing log content, has become a growing requirement. This need can only be addressed by having logs pass through a more centralized processing point (log aggregation/pipeline) rather than each source communicating separately with each target system (full-mesh). The collection, processing, and routing of log traffic from various types of sources and targets at these data processing points are planned to be configured and monitored through a central interface. The goal of the Kron TP product is to provide a solution that can manage all these processes, be configured according to user needs, and it should have the ability to centrally manage a distributed setup.
