Single Connect’s built-in MFA can be used as an enhanced security level for HTTP proxies. When a user opens a web browser, they are asked for their Single Connect credentials to connect to the HTTP proxy. After the login is successful, if MFA is activated for HTTP Proxy, the user is asked for an MFA token. If the Single Connect Desktop Client is used, the MFA token is required when the user opens the webpage.

The Single Connect Mobile App can be used as an online or offline token generator. A hard token can also be used. The token, which is generated by the Single Connect Mobile App, is entered in Firefox to log in to the related webpage using the HTTP Proxy.
