Windows Scheduled Task Strategy
this section explains how to change the password of the user defined for the scheduled task using application configuration and trigger users need to have configured task information for this option in a similar manner to the example below navigate to secrets > configurations > application configuration click + add and enter the parameters as described in the screen below select windows scheduled task as strategy enter the winrm port select ntlm as the winrm authentication method and click save navigate to secrets > application management click + add to add a new trigger a new trigger adding popup will appear with this definition, when the vault account's password is changed, reset, or updated, a trigger is generated for the scheduled task to automatically change the password on the target device enter the name of the trigger in the name field select the application configuration with the defined name, like windows scheduled task in the windows scheduled task name field , enter the same task name value defined for the scheduled task on windows target device otherwise, the password value will not change because kron pam cannot find the relevant scheduled task select the vault account defined in password vault whose password you want to change if the user added to the vault account is authorized on the target device to enact changes on scheduled tasks, keep the use authentication user option inactive if it is not an authorized user, the name and password information of the administrator user need to be entered in the relevant fields that appear upon activating the use authentication user switch set t he target type value as single device select the target device information where the scheduled task is configured click save after the definition is completed, open the vault screen and select the vault account whenever the user selects the vault account and clicks the update or reset password option, kron pam will create a trigger and a password change will be performed, either automatically after some time or upon your manual request from the trigger process list shown on the application management page, as pictured below
