This section provides technical and configuration information for Kron PAM’s SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and Syslog servers.
Kron PAM can send logs to SIEM systems via UDP or TCP protocol. The SIEM module can forward the created Syslog packets to the predefined Syslog server.
The SIEM host IP address, port, RFC format, connection protocol, and content format are configurable. RFC_5424 and RFC_3164 formats are supported.
