SSH Connection via Native Client

Users can continue to use their own preferred SSH connection tool (native clients, such as PuTTY, MobaXterm, etc.) to connect to the Linux Server over Kron PAM. All sessions are recorded as text logs and video records (same as in Web GUI connections). In this example, we will use PuTTY. To connect via a native client, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Native Client and enter the Kron PAM IP address in the Host Name field and 2222 as the Port Number. Click Open. A CLI window opens.
  2. Enter the Kron PAM Username and Password (refer to Creating Kron PAM Local Users Manually).
  3. The system connects to the Kron PAM CLI interface. Press * and enter. All devices under the device group realm with the related user group are listed.
  4. Enter the number of the device to connect to and press enter.
