SSH Connection via Kron PAM Desktop Client

Kron PAM has a desktop client to easily make SSH connections.
- Before you begin, follow the steps in Creating Local Users Manually to create a user whose credentials you will need in Step 4.
- Download and install the Kron PAM Desktop Client. For step-by-step instructions, see Desktop Client for Windows User Guide
To establish an SSH connection through the Kron PAM Desktop Client, follow the steps below:
- Open the desktop client, click Connections, and then click Add.
- Enter Kron PAM IP Address and Kron PAM UI Port number. (The Port defaults to 80 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS, but this port might change as per request).
- If SSL is activated in the network, check the Use SSL box and then click Save.
- Enter the Kron PAM Username and Password. Choose Kron PAM IP address in the Server dropdown and click Login.
- Kron PAM device group opens. Choose the Linux server and double-click to open up an SSH session.
