User and Role Management
Authorized users are capable to add new users to Single Monitor
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings - Users
- Navigate to Add – New User
- Enter user information and click Save button
Authorized users are capable to list Single Monitor users
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Type a keyword
Authorized Users are capable to edit Single Monitor users
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Search and find the user to be modified
- From User Information card, click Edit button
- Change necessary fields, click Save
Authorized Users are capable to delete Single Monitor users
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Select users’ checkbox
- Select Delete from Bulk Actions and click Apply
Authorized Users are capable to Lock Single Monitor users
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Select users’ checkbox
- Select Lock from Bulk Actions and click Apply
or
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Enter User Information
- Click Lock button from User Information card 4
Authorized Users are capable to Lock Single Monitor users
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Select locked users’ checkbox
- Select Unlock from Bulk Actions and click Apply
or
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Enter locked user
- Click Unlock button from User Information card
Authorized Users are capable to reset Single Monitor user’s password
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Enter user information
- Click Reset Password button (key icon) from User Information card and confirm it. After this process new password will be send to user’s Email address
or
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Select users’ checkbox
- Select Reset Password from Bulk Actions and click Apply. After this process new password will be send to user’s Email address
Authorized Users are capable to export Single Monitor users list
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Click Export button
Authorized Users are cable to edit Single Monitor user’s properties
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Click users’ username
- Click Add button and select properties then click Edit button for edit added properties’ value
Authorized Users are capable to create user and identify Valid From-Until time
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Navigate to Add – New User
- Enter user information and click Temporary User then identify Valid From – Until time period
- Click Save at least
Activity Logs include all actions the user has performed on the portal. Authorized user can view the system user’s activity logs by entering the system user’s profile.
Authorized Users are capable to display users’ activity logs
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users
- Enter user’s information by clicking on the username
- Click Activity Logs
User Groups and add users to User Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – User
- Click Add New User Group
- Enter User Group information and click Save button
Authorized user can manage User Groups
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Groups
- Click Edit Button from Assigned Users card
- Select group users and group manager then click OK
Authorized user can manage User Groups and edit User Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Groups
- Enter User Group’s information
- Click Edit Button from User Group Information card
- Change additional users or edit group details and click Save
Authorized users can delete Single Monitor User Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group
- Select user groups’ checkbox then select Delete from Bulk Actions
- Click Apply
Authorized users can Lock User Groups Single Monitor User Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group
- Select user groups’ checkbox then select Lock User from Bulk Actions
- Click Apply
Authorized users can Unlock User Groups Single Monitor User Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group
- Select user groups’ checkbox then select Unlock User from Bulk Actions
- Click Apply
Authorized users export User Groups as excel files to do it fallow the steps bellow.
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group
- Use the export button on the top right corner to export the user groups.
Authorized users can Reset User Groups Passwords to do it fallow the steps bellow.
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group
- Select user groups’ checkbox then select Reset User Group Password from Bulk Actions
- Click Apply
Single Monitor has user authorization mechanism. With user authorization mechanism, users can use the Single Monitor portal within the authorization assigned to them. Authorization types are available in Single Monitor. These authorization types can be assigned to the user groups.

Authorization group can be created with the types of authority mentioned in 2.3.1
Authorized users can create Authorization Group
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Role Management
- Click Authorization Group
- Navigate to Add – Authorization Group
- Enter authorization group information and select Authorization types then click OK
Application Roles are created by matching User groups and Authorization Groups.
Authorized users can create or edit Application Roles
- Login to Single Monito Web GUI.
- Navigate to Settings – Role Management – Add – Add Application Role.
- Enter Application Role information then assign user group and authorization group.
- Click OK .
Different password strength policies can be set on Single Monitor
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Password Policy
- Create Application Role

New user can be forced to change their password at the first login to Single Monitor. To enable forcing password change on new users, follow steps below.
- Login to Single Monitor Web GUI
- Navigate to Settings – Password Policy
- Set confirm “Force new user to change password” checkbox and click Save
