Adding Users to Single Monitor Manually 

Authorized users are capable to add new users to Single Monitor 

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings - Users  
  3. Navigate to Add – New User 
  4. Enter user information and click Save button

  3. Search and find the user to be modified 
  4. From User Information card, click Edit button 
  5. Change necessary fields, click Save

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users 
  3. Select users’ checkbox  
  4. Select Delete from Bulk Actions and click Apply

Reset Single Monitor User’s Password 

Authorized Users are capable to reset Single Monitor user’s password 

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users 
  3. Enter user information 
  4. Click Reset Password button (key icon) from User Information card and confirm it. After this process new password will be send to user’s Email address

  2. Navigate to Settings – Users 
  3. Click Export button

 Creating Temporary User on Single Monitor 

Authorized Users are capable to create user and identify Valid From-Until time  

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users 
  3. Navigate to Add – New User 
  4.  Enter user information and click Temporary User then identify Valid From – Until time period  
  5. Click Save at least

 Single Monitor Users Activity Logs 

Activity Logs include all actions the user has performed on the portal. Authorized user can view the system user’s activity logs by entering the system user’s profile. 

Authorized Users are capable to display users’ activity logs 

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users 
  3. Enter user’s information by clicking on the username 
  4. Click Activity Logs

  3. Click Add New User Group 
  4. Enter User Group information and click Save button

  2. Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group 
  3. Select user groups’ checkbox then select Delete from Bulk Actions

Export User Group List

Authorized users export User Groups as excel files to do it fallow the steps bellow.

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group 
  3. Use the export button on the top right corner to export the user groups.

Reset User Groups’ Users’ Password 

Authorized users can Reset User Groups Passwords to do it fallow the steps bellow. 

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Users and click User Group 
  3. Select user groups’ checkbox then select Reset User Group Password from Bulk Actions  
  4. Click Apply

Role Management 

Single Monitor has user authorization mechanism. With user authorization mechanism, users can use the Single Monitor portal within the authorization assigned to them. Authorization types are available in Single Monitor. These authorization types can be assigned to the user groups.

Authorization Group 

Authorization group can be created with the types of authority mentioned in 2.3.1 

Authorized users can create Authorization Group  

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Role Management 
  3. Click Authorization Group 
  4. Navigate to Add – Authorization Group 
  5. Enter authorization group information and select Authorization types then click OK

Application Role 

Application Roles are created by matching User groups and Authorization Groups. 

Authorized users can create or edit Application Roles 

  1. Login to Single Monito Web GUI. 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Role Management – Add – Add Application Role. 
  3. Enter Application Role information then assign user group and authorization group. 
  4. Click OK .

Password Policy

Different password strength policies can be set on Single Monitor  

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Password Policy

Force New User to Change Password  

New user can be forced to change their password at the first login to Single Monitor. To enable forcing password change on new users, follow steps below. 

  1. Login to Single Monitor Web GUI 
  2. Navigate to Settings – Password Policy 
  3. Set confirm “Force new user to change password” checkbox and click Save
