Sometimes the administrator of the platform may want to block access for users who have the SAPM password. Or the user who got the password may finish their job before the expiration time of the password, and may want to release it for another person’s use. In both cases, the password can be reset using the Single Connect web GUI. To reset the password:
Navigate to SAPM Management > SAPM Management.
- Open the SAPM Accounts tab.
- From the Account Options drop-down menu of the SAPM account whose password you want to reset, select Reset Password.
Resetting the Password

- Confirm the operation from the dialog box by clicking Yes.
- The dynamic accounts’ password is reset by the Dynamic Password Controller.
- Since there is no password change in static accounts, the account seen by the user is hidden with the password reset.
