Managerial Approval for Commands

1 min

Command Approval allows admins to control in-session policies using the managerial approval feature. It is only applicable for SSH sessions. This feature is configured as a policy setting in a policy group and enables users to run a command and wait for the manager’s approval. The command is run in the target system if the manager approves. To configure managerial approval for command executions:

  1. Navigate to Policy Control > Policy Group.
  2. On the right side of the page, select Approval via Email as the Action for the commands to be run with managerial approval.
  3. Save the policy group that includes commands that require approval.
