Authorized users can see the text logs and replay the video recordings of the target system connection sessions. Session records store the changes on the screen, so they require a small amount of storage space. The file size of a 1-hour session video recording is approximately 38 MB.
- Navigate to Logging > Session Logs.
- Fill in the filter fields and click the Search button.
- To view the logs in text format: a. Click the Options menu and select Show Details. b. Logs can be seen in text format.
- To view the session’s video recording: a. Click the Options button and select Show Details. b. To replay the session, select Play Session. c. To convert the session record to a video format, select Convert to Video. When the conversion process is completed, the Video Availability status changes to Available. Once the video is available, the Download Video and the Play Video Record options appear in the Options menu.
The video quality of the converted file can be adjusted by configuring the following parameters in the System Config. Man.:
- rdp.video.convert.resolution: Video resolution in width x height format. The default value is 640x480 pixels.
- rdp.video.convert.bitrate: Video Bitrate in bits per second. The default value is 2000000 (2Mbps).
