Invalid Credentials

Cannot connect to device reason: Authentication failed: Invalid credentials!



Steps to Fix: Take the following steps to troubleshoot:

  1. Navigate to Device Management > Device Groups.
  2. Open the Device Group Properties of the device.
  3. Check globalUsername and globalPassword.

If the globalUsername and globalPassword properties are correct and you still receive this error, the password prompt of the relevant element type is not appropriate for the target device. You need to edit the element type properties.
