Configuring the Telegram Integration
System administrators configure the bot credentials once for the whole system. Kron PAM stores this configuration on the Integrations tab of the System Configuration Manager screen, next to Email Configuration, SAML Configuration, and the other integration cards.
Create a Telegram bot with BotFather and obtain its HTTP API token and bot username before you configure the integration in Kron PAM.
To configure the Telegram integration:
1. Navigate to Administration > System Configuration Manager > Integrations.
2. Click to the Telegram Integration card to open the Edit Telegram Integration window.
3. Enter the HTTP API token of the bot in the Bot Token field.
4. Enter the username of the bot in the Bot Username field.
5. Set the Enable Telegram toggle to on.
6. Click Test Connection. Kron PAM queries Telegram with the token and reports the result inline.
7. Click SAVE.

Field | Description |
|---|---|
Enable Telegram | Activates Telegram delivery for the system. While the toggle is off, Kron PAM hides every Telegram screen and suspends group-level delivery. |
Bot Token | HTTP API token of the bot. Kron PAM validates the token with Test Connection and stores it encrypted. Required while Enable Telegram is on. |
Bot Username | Username of the bot, up to 32 characters. Kron PAM shows this value, and a link to the bot, to users during registration. |
Kron PAM never returns the bot token in plain text. After the first save, the Bot Token field displays a masked value. Turning off Enable Telegram does not unlink users, so their registrations remain valid when you turn the integration on again.
