Enabling Barcode Scanning for OTP in Kron PAM Web GUI

OTP usage can also be facilitated through barcode scanning via the Web GUI.

Enable Barcode Display in Web GUI

Navigate to Administration > System Configuration Manager.

Configure the required parameter: sc.portal.otp.validate.qrcode = true

After this, when a user from a user group that has MFA enabled tries to log in, the QR-code will be displayed once on the login page for the user to save it on the Kron PAM Mobile Application and verify it right then and there.

Barcode display functionality is only available if the sc.portal.otp.enabled parameter is enabled.

Users must have OTP enabled status for the barcode scanning feature to work.
