Kron PAM Session Manager operates in an agentless proxy architecture and does not require an agent to be installed on the target systems or on the user's workstation. Privileged sessions can be accessed and managed through a web browser, Kron PAM Desktop Client, or native clients without installing additional agents or plugins on the endpoint. This approach simplifies deployment and maintenance while providing centralized control, monitoring, and recording of privileged sessions.

For use cases involving endpoint-level control and policy enforcement, Kron PAM also supports an Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) agent. The EPM agent provides deeper integration with endpoints, offering advanced capabilities such as application control, privilege elevation, and local command restrictions.
