Allow HTTP Proxy Access to SubDomains
Users may require access both to the root domain specified in the device definition, and to its subdomains. However, certain customers prefer to deny access to subdomains, allowing users to access only the specified main domain. With the parameter http.proxy.allow.sub.domain.access, users can be granted or denied access to all subdomains related to the domain.
- If the http.proxy.allow.sub.domain.access parameter in the /pam/http/conf/http_proxy.properties file is set to true.

- The subdomains of the domain defined in the Device Definition will be accessible.

- According to the above definition, the https://login.pega.com subdomain can be accessed from a browser.

- If the http.proxy.allow.sub.domain.access parameter in the /pam/http/conf/http_proxy.properties file is set to false, subdomains cannot be reached (according to the above example, the link https://login.pega.com cannot be accessed).
