Jboss Configuration Strategy
This section will explain how to change the passwords of the users defined in the Data sources of the RedHat JBOSS Server with the help of Application Configuration and Trigger.
WinRM service must be installed on those servers.
The HTTP PORT information must be opened for the requests for JBoss and Wildfly servers.
Jboss application server configuration must have been completed before. The username and password information in the Security tab in Data Source must have been changed to Vault Account.

An Application Trigger Config definition must be made first.
- Navigate to Secrets > Configurations menu > Application Configuration Tab page.
- Click the +Add Button and Enter parameters.

- Select JBoss as a Strategy.
- The admin username (Service Username) and password (Service Password) information entered for connection to the JBoss server must be defined.
- An HTTP connection will be used for the JBoss Strategy; therefore, the JBoss Server IP and port information must be entered.
- Click the Save button.
- Navigate to Secrets >Application Management screen
- Add a new trigger.

- Click the +Add button.
- Enter the name of the trigger in the Name field.
- Select the Application Configuration with the defined name above the definition value like Jboss.
- In the Data Source Name field, the same value name defined in the JBoss Server Data source must be entered. Otherwise, the password value will not change because the system will not find the relevant data source.

The Vault Account defined in Password Vault, whose password needs to be changed, must be selected. Device information where the JBoss Server is installed and the device to be modified must be selected.

After the definition is completed, the Vault screen must be opened, and the Vault account must be selected. Whenever the Vault account is selected and the Update or Reset Password option is clicked, a trigger will be created as explained in the previous sections, and a password change will be performed.
