to enhance session tracking and usability, kron pam introduces the sessionvideoconverterjob, a job designed to automatically export and convert session recordings into a playable format ( mp4) while generating metadata files ( info) containing session header information key features of sessionvideoconverterjob time specific scheduling the job can be configured with starttime and endtime parameters (in hh\ mm format) during the defined time range, the job processes sessions continuously until the time window ends if starttime is greater than endtime (e g , starttime=22 00 and endtime=04 00), the job spans across midnight manual and limited execution if executed manually or without time parameters, the job converts up to 10 sessions per run output files generates a playable mp4 video file for each session creates a info file named with the session id, containing metadata such as session details and header information the reproduced files will be placed under the below directory/ /pam/gui/webapps/sessionrecords to configure and enable the sessionvideoconverterjob, follow these steps navigate to administration > job scheduler in the kron pam web gui add the job with the following parameters starttime optional defines the start time of the conversion window (e g , 22 00) endtime optional defines the end time of the conversion window (e g , 04 00) if these parameters are omitted, the job will default to processing up to 10 sessions per run save the job configuration and schedule it to run at desired intervals, such as during non peak hours for optimal performance jobs configured with starttime and endtime parameters will loop continuously during the specified window, ensuring all eligible sessions are processed this job is ideal for automating session export tasks, particularly for maintaining compliance and accessibility in environments with high session activity
