Web Portal Access

1 min

It may not always be possible to obtain information about every web portal that an end user is authorized to access, particularly within extensive environments in which hundreds of web portals may exist. While the Desktop Client application or the Device Inventory segment of the Kron PAM Management UI provides a list of web portals with access permissions, end users using a local web browser are not afforded this luxury. Memorizing the addresses of these portals and typing them into the browser's address bar can be quite laborious. Hence, after successfully accessing the HTTP Proxy, all web portals accessible to the end user can be displayed in one window. To achieve this, access to the HTTP Proxy authentication page must be successful first. Then, by visiting the address below, all web portals with access privileges are listed under the same browser window:

<HTTP_PROXY_PROTOCOL>://<HTTP_PROXY_ADDRESS>authorizedDevices

Also, the Web portal page can be accessed through the error screen when an unsuccessful attempt has been made.
