Managing Passwords in a File

For some systems, especially legacy, user passwords are held in text files, and Password Vault will need to change the passwords in the file. To do this:

  1. Create a Vault Configuration with the FILE strategy.
  2. Edit Configuration for the new Configuration.
  3. Set the properties listed below, then create an account.
change.password.with.super.user super.username super.password file.path file.regex.to.match file.regex.to.replace
