Adding Cluster Accounts in SAPM
For cluster accounts in target devices, the same password should be set for both instances. To make the configuration for cluster accounts, an SAPM account has to be defined for an active cluster node. Once that is done, other nodes can be defined by following these steps:
- Navigate to SAPM Management > SAPM Management.
- Open the SAPM Accounts tab.
- Select the defined active node SAPM account and click its Options button.
- Select the Create Identical SAPM Account option.

- Enter the other cluster node IP address .
- Click Create.

- While adding a cluster account, a connection to the device is not established. The password of the first SAPM account of the cluster is assigned automatically to identical accounts.
- Proper regular expression should be defined for the change.password.failure.pattern property in the SAPM configuration, to prevent password change on passive nodes.

To search for identical accounts for an SAPM account:
- Navigate to SAPM Management > SAPM Management.
- Open the SAPM Accounts tab.
- Select the desired SAPM account and click the Options button.
- Select the Show Identical SAPM Account option.
