End-of-Life Policy
This document outlines the End-of-Life (EOL) Policy for Kron PAM. As technologies evolve, products eventually reach the end of their operational lifecycle. This policy aims to provide customers with clear guidelines and timelines for the retirement of Kron PAM, enabling them to plan accordingly and ensure a smooth transition to alternative solutions that meet their privileged access management needs.

Development Period: The Development Period is the time during which a released version of Kron PAM receives regular updates and fixes from our product team. This includes addressing security bugs, production bugs, and performance issues. For LTS versions, this period lasts 1 years from the release date. For non-LTS versions, it lasts 6 months from the release date.
End-of-Development (EoD) Date: The End-of-Development Date is the date when the Development Period ends for a specific version of Kron PAM. After this date, the version will no longer receive regular updates or fixes. However, it will continue to receive critical security patch support for an additional year during the Support Period.
Release Cycles: New features and improvements are planned and implemented in our regular release cycles. These updates will not be included under any circumstances, even in LTS versions.
Upgrade Path: Customers using the LTS version can upgrade to future non-LTS releases if they wish to take advantage of new features and improvements. However, they should be aware that these releases may not have the same level of long-term support as the LTS version.
Support Period: The Support Period is the time during which Kron PAM versions receive active support from our Kron PAM Support team. This includes addressing critical issues related to OS level security, stability, and performance.
End-of-Support (EoS) Date: The End-of-Support Date is the final date after which a specific version of Kron PAM will no longer receive any updates, including security fixes or resolutions for critical issues. This date is one year after the End-of-Development Date for both LTS and non-LTS versions.
