Device Group Configuration
Global Username/Password Connection
privileged users (such as root, superuser, etc ) in the target device are called global users to establish an sql connection using these accounts, and to make the global user’s password invisible to the local user, the configuration below needs to be defined a global username can be defined in the device group screen, for the device group that includes the target database when connecting to the database with a global username via sql proxy, there is a pre established priority to the rules applied, as follows first priority if there is a defined sapm account, the sapm password is used for the globaluser authentication please refer to the sapm account creation process in the section adding accounts in sapm second priority if the sapm account is not defined, the global password is used to connect to the device
