User Menu Management (Portal Functions)
The menu elements in the navigation pane are called Portal Functions. When a user first logs in to Kron PAM, there are no Portal Functions in the navigation pane. In other words, the navigation pane is empty. Kron PAM admins can configure users’ navigation pane by granting/removing the rights to view these functions.
Portal Functions are assigned to user groups, and by extension, to the users. Users see a different menu in the navigation pane depending on the Portal Functions granted to their user group - which is parallel to the authorization scope intended for the group.
After admins create users and user groups, they must manage Portal Functions on a user-group basis. Admins first create function groups to create a set of portal functions and then associate these functional groups with the intended user groups.
