Adding a Device Manually
Kron PAM creates a secure bridge between users and devices. The previous sections explain how to create user definitions. This section explains how to create devices.
To add a device to Kron PAM:
- Navigate to Devices > Inventory.
- Open the Devices tab.
- Click the blue Add button and a pop-up will appear.
- Fill out the relevant device information, group membership, and parameters. Save it by clicking the Save button. Some notes about device information: a. Access Protocol: Select according to the connected device. E.g., SSH2 for Linux devices and RDP for Windows devices. b. Port number: Do not enter if the default ports are in use for the Access methods. c. Element Type: Select by the type of connected device. E.g., Linux, Windows, etc. Do not enter the interface name. d. Group Membership: Select the related device group.
