If connecting to devices with an SSH Key is preferred, the **globalSshKey** should be defined for the Device Group.

If an SSH Key is also preferred to connect to an SFTP device, it can be configured in Single Connect as well. To use an SSH Key, the **globalUsername** and **globalSshKey** need to be defined for the Device Group.

1. Navigate to **Device Management** > **Device Groups**.
2. Right-Click the desired device group, and select **Show Properties**.
3. Set the privileged target device username as **globalUsername**.
4. Set the SSH Key as **globalSshKey**.
