The IP Authorization feature allows policies to be managed for connections from specified IPs. If a connection from a privileged IP is to be a privileged request, the action for this connection policy should be defined as “Location Confirmation”.
The following steps describe the necessary configurations:

1. Navigate to **Policy Control** > **Session Policy**.
2. Open the **User Location** tab.
3. From the Username drop-down menu, select **Username**.
4. From the Type drop-down menu, select **IP Address**.
5. Enter the IP address and click **Save**.
6. Open the **Policy Group** tab.
7. Select the policies and pick **Location Confirmation** from the Action Menu.
8. Configure the **Policy Realm** for the defined policy group as well.
