This guide is intended to provide guidance and information to the admin users who are new to the Kron PAM solution. The guide describes the main concepts, and usage and helps admin users start configurations.

The Quick Start Guide starts by describing Kron PAM , and then goes on to explain the concepts of device realms and policy realms as they are referred to in the software. After a quick overview of the Web portal GUI and its main elements, the guide moves on to the initial configuration section, Quick Start for its more commonly used modules, Session Manager, Password Vault, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

The Session Manager section starts with the role-based management of Kron PAM users and continues with making SSH and RDP connections. Then explains how to view session logs, monitor real-time, and control sessions. The Password Vault section gives a brief description of the module, explaining how to change the saved password periodically in the password vault. The last section is about Multi-Factor Authentication, a feature to log in to Kron PAM or a device with a token generated by the Kron PAM Mobile Application.
