Radius 802.1x Configuration

If Single Connect is used for 802.1x Radius Authentication Services, users should complete settings below:

1. Obtain the CA certificate of the authentication server 2. Create a network profile via the manual connection wizard

Security Type = WPA2 Enterprise

Encryption = AES Authentication Method = PEAP PEAP Properties

• Select “Verify the server’s identity by validating the certificate” • Select CA certificate of the authentication • Authentication Method = MSCHAPv2







Sample Configuration for Windows

1. Add the CA certificate of the authentication server to the Trusted Root Certification Authority using the certificate plug-in of mmc (MS Management Console). 2. Create a network profile via the manual connection wizard, where;
