User sessions can be terminated based on their idle time. The default value is 15 seconds.

To change the timeout value:

1. Open and edit file /u01/sftp-proxy/conf/nsso.properties. Change the value of nsso.sftp.channel.open.timeout as desired.
2. Restart the SFTP Proxy service with the following command: **systemctl restart sftp\_prox**
