The script runs every night at a scheduled time, usually between 00:30 and 04:00, and exports the previous day’s data into 2 tar files: log and configuration.


The script parameters are kept in a text file, as detailed in the Parameters section below. Based on those parameters, the related data will be collected from and stored in predefined locations.
