Kron PAM checks whether each Vault Agent is reachable and reports this status as a heartbeat. To view an agent's heartbeat, click the agent's name on the **Agent** screen.

The **Heartbeat** panel opens and shows:

- A refresh interval list (for example, *5 minutes*) that sets how often the panel updates.
- A time range list (for example, *Last 24 hours*) that sets the period the chart and data table cover.
- A **Heartbeat Status** chart that plots the agent's *Up* and *Down* states over the selected period.
- A **Current Status** card that shows whether the agent is *Active* or *Inactive*, together with the date and time of the last check.
- An **Uptime** card that shows the percentage of the selected period during which the agent was up.
- A **Heartbeat Data Table** section that lists the underlying heartbeat records. Expand it to view the records, or click **Export PDF** or **Export Excel** to download them.

Kron PAM keeps collecting heartbeat records for an agent regardless of which time range or refresh interval you select in the panel. These controls only change what the chart and data table display.
