If the terminal server license is inactive on the target Windows device, it restricts the number of concurrent RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) connections. When a user (**user1**) is actively connected to an RDP-enabled device and a second user (**user2**) attempts to initiate a connection, user1 might be automatically disconnected to accommodate user2's connection. Subsequently, user2 will establish the RDP connection to the device.

When a user (**user2**) establishes a connection, a warning message can be presented, notifying that the activity may result in the logout of another user.

To enable this warning:

1. Navigate to **Administration** > **System Config Man> Add New System Parameter.**
2. Set the parameter:
 **sc.rdp.connection.warn.simultaneous.sessions = true**
3. Click **Save**.

This parameter will enable the default warning: "**The device you are trying to connect to has an active session. Click Continue to connect, otherwise close this window.**"

To change the warning text:

1. Log in to the Kron PAM Web GUI.
2. Navigate to **Administration **> **System Config Man>Add New System Parameter.**
3. Set this parameter with the desired warning as its value.
 **sc.rdp.connection.warn.simultaneous.sessions.text**
4. Click **Save**.

When user2 selects **Continue**, they will be connected to the device, and user1 will be disconnected.
