If there are a lot of accounts on the target devices with the same username and password, the Auto Import function can be used to add Accounts, with a job running periodically to detect these usernames and import them to Password Vault. For example, if multiple virtual servers are created every day using the same username and password on the template, this feature can be used to import all these accounts to Password Vault daily. To use this feature:

1. Navigate to **Secrets > Configurations.**
2. Open the **Auto Import Rules** tab.
3. Click the **+Add **Button.
4. Enter the rule name, device group, element type, and click **Next**.
5. Enter the Vault Configuration, Username, and Password. Select the Owner, and optionally select one or more Vault Group(s). Then set the Change Period Type, and if you select Periodic, enter the Change Period Day.
6. Click** Continue.**

**Owner** is required. If you don't select one, Kron PAM automatically assigns the current user as the rule's owner. The **Vault Group(s)** list shows only the groups you have permission to see.

To change the number of threads running the Auto-Import jobs, the **sapm.job.password.change.thread.count** parameter should be changed from the **Administration **> **System Config Man**. page. The default value is** 5**.
