While managing accounts, you have access to informational details about the account as well as confidential data.

Fields such as **Secret Notes** and **Description** provide this structure. Tags let you categorize and organize accounts beyond these fields. Each account you create can have multiple tags.

Tags use a key-value format. You can edit them using the **Edit Account** operation after adding the account.

From the **Advanced Search** field on the Vault screen, you can search by both the key and the value of a tag. Kron PAM logs each tag change under **Audit** > **Vault**.
