the kron pam multitenancy capability enables a single instance architecture that securely serves multiple customers (tenants) without cross tenant impact each customer is logically isolated as an independent tenant, ensuring strict data segregation and preventing any unauthorized access between tenants tenants can be granted controlled customization capabilities within defined boundaries, allowing them to tailor specific aspects of the application without compromising platform integrity or other tenants this multitenant architecture allows a single deployment to efficiently support multiple organizations or business units concurrently compared to a single tenant model, it significantly reduces infrastructure and operational overhead by eliminating the need for separate instances per tenant additionally, updates and upgrades can be applied centrally, ensuring all tenants benefit simultaneously with minimal operational effort and reduced time to delivery to enable multitenancy, the following requirements should be satisfied 1 software license file the kron pam multitenancy license grants access to the kron pam tenant management interface and functions the license file should be ready before installation 2 email settings the email settings should be completed before initiating tenant definitions this is a requirement, as the system needs to send activation emails to tenant administrators as the tenants are defined (see email server configuration on kron pam administration section) kron pam can accommodate no more than 30 tenants
