Sensitive Data Discovery

Schedule Discovery

Aside from manual discovery, a scheduled discovery can also be configured:

  1. Navigate to Sensitive Data Discovery.
  2. Open the Schedule Discovery tab.
  3. Fill in the Discovery Name, Description, and Cron Expression.
  4. Select the Database, Schema, Table, Pattern, Sample Data Count, Expected Matched Percentages, and Thread Count.
  5. Click the Save Scheduler button.

To execute the scheduled discovery, the SDD schedule job must be defined:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Jobs Scheduler.
  2. Open the Triger List tab.
  3. Select SDDSchedule as the Job.
  4. Fill in the Trigger Name and Cron Expression fields
  5. To enable the job, select Enabled in the Active field and click Save.

When the scheduled discovery is completed, the discovery results are shown in the Schedule Result Page tab.

A discovery summary can also be viewed. Click the Show Summary option on the Search Result section.
