There are two methods for sending approval SMS:

-
  Over HTTP (via SMS Proxy)
-
  Over SMPP (via SMSC)


Choose one of them:

1. Navigate to **Administration** > **System Config Man**.
2. Set the value of the **sms.channel** parameter and click **Save**.

**sms.channel**: This parameter defines the channel to be used. Available values are **HTTP** and **SMPP**. The default value is** HTTP**.

The mandatory System Config. Man. parameters starting with “smpp.” should be defined to be able to send/receive approvals via SMS over SMPP. Please refer to [APPENDIX 1: System Config Manager Parameters](docId\:YHRM9lMFKmz4li2VqoOer) for these parameters.
