Kron PAM imports AWS instances based on their tags. If an AWS instance is to be imported into Kron PAM, that instance must have all the tags specified in at least one device group.

To create a group with AWS tags:

1. Navigate to **Devices > Inventory.**
2. Create a new **Device Group**, or use an existing **Device Group.**
3. Select the desired **Device Group**, and click the **Options** button.
4. Set the **AWS tag** property that matches the devices to be imported.
5. The tag property keys are automatically created in Kron PAM once the **AWS Device Import** job runs.
