Adding GCP Devices to specific Device Groups

Kron PAM imports GCP instances based on their tags. If a GCP instance is to be imported into Kron PAM, that instance must have all the tags specified in at least one device group. To create a group with GCP tags:

  1. Navigate to Device Management > Device Groups.
  2. Create a new Device Group, or use an existing Device Group.
  3. Right-click the Device Group, and select Show Properties.
  4. Set the GCP tag property that matches the devices to be imported. The tag property keys are automatically created in Kron PAM once the Azure Device Import job runs. The keys are retrieved from the Labels field of the GCP instance details.

  • Tag values can be written in regex format.
  • When importing devices from cloud platforms, the Management IP is set according to the values of the “tag.DiscoverInterfaceType” property defined in the device group. The property can be set as public or private. The default value is private.
