The Kron PAM Password Vault component SAPM has a managerial approval feature. SAPM manages the passwords of target devices in its Password Vault. It changes the passwords periodically and allows users to check out passwords from SAPM. Alternatively, if the Account Base Approval structure is enabled, users have to request approval before accessing the account.


SAPM approval adds another level of security to password checkout, as managerial approval to check out the password. To configure SAPM Manager Approval:

1. Navigate to **Policy Control **> **Approval Management**.
2. Select **SAPM** as the Approval Type, and click the *Search *button to list all the SAPM approval requests.
3. Click the** Options** button on a request to approve or reject.
