AAPM Agent for Linux
Installation of AAPM on Linux is performed using a self-extracting shell script. To begin, the script named kronaapm-agent.sh should be downloaded from Kron Filerepo.
The script provided above must be executed as described. The reason for running this script with sudo privileges is due to the fact that in the unit file of the AAPM Agent to be started as a service, the root is defined as the service owner, and the Linux SDKs are required to be written under the /opt/aapm directory.
This script will require two mandatory parameters: ‘primary_ip’ and ‘token’. However, it can also accept three additional parameters:
- ‘grpc_port’: The gRPC port used for communication with applications utilizing the SDK.
- ‘secondary_ip’: Failover Kron PAM IP address.
- ‘mode’: Installation mode. This parameter can take either the value "all" or "sdk-only" for specifying the desired mode of installation.
Upon successful execution of the script above, the "kron-aapm-agent" service should be observed as active under the services section.
SDK components are installed in /opt/aapm folder:
When the Linux AAPM Agent is launched, it does not write the corresponding GRPC port and Kron PAM IP Address to the Registry, unlike the Windows AAPM Agent. Instead, when operating as a service, it writes these details to the Java Preferences area of the user who initiated the service. If the service is initiated as root, the relevant information is written under the root directory in the java folder as follows:
