Similar devices with the same access methods should be in the same device group. It is better to create device groups before creating devices so that when adding a device, you can choose to include it in a device group. 

To create Device Groups:

1. Navigate to **Devices **> **Inventory**.
2. Open the **Devices **tab.
3. Click the blue **Add **button and a pop-up will appear.
4. Select the **Add Group **option.
5. Fill out the **Device Group Name **and **Description **field in the info section. Then click **Next**.
6. Fill out the **Properties **section.
7. Click **Save**.
