Reputation Engine Integration

This integration enables the EPM agent to automatically query Virus Total using the SHA-256 hash of scanned applications. The results provide numerical scores indicating whether the application is classified as malicious, suspicious, or undetected, offering a quick and detailed risk assessment.
To configure please follow the below steps:
- Navigate to System Configuration Manager and choose the Integrations tab.
- Click the Green arrow button next to the Application Inspection Integration.
Reputation Engine Configuration
- Add New Integration
- Choose Name as Virus Total
- Then enter the API Key for Virus Total. This key is going to be obtained from Virus Total.
- Save the configuration
- Then we need to Schedule a Job-on-Job Scheduler to periodically check newly discovered applications.

The result will be seen on the Application Catalog page as follows:
Observing result of the application inspection
If there is an error on integration with Virus Total logs can be seen on Catalina logs.
