Introduction
The Getting Started Guide starts by describing Kron PAM, and then goes on to explain the concepts of device realms and policy realms as they are referred to in the software. After a quick overview of the Web portal GUI and its main elements, the guide moves on to the initial configuration section, Getting Started for its more commonly used modules, Session Manager, Password Vault, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
The Session Manager section starts with the role-based management of Kron PAM users and continues to establish SSH and RDP connections. Then explains how to view session logs, monitor real-time, and control sessions. The Password Vault section gives a brief description of the module, explaining how to change the passwords saved in the password vault periodically. The last section addresses Multi-Factor Authentication, a feature used to log in to Kron PAM or a device with a token generated by the Kron PAM Mobile Application
